but no one knows what they are.
The challenges, the joys, the frustration and tears. 
The years of fighting alone.

Do we survive  or push to thrive? 
Relationships present challenges
but we end up with 
friends who are true. 
Perhaps animals are kinder then people?

We have to learn continuously.

As we live we learn how to cope. 
The tenacity, creativity, the strength and the sincere 
are all of what we are. 
Einstein, Edwards, Bronte, (both Emily and Charlotte )
Branson, Holman and Welch, and i cant forget Ruth
Delveinge, Waingwright, Hemingway, Taylor, G.K. Chesterton, Quest 
Jack Kerousa, Hopkins, and George Orwell too. 

All show us aspects of who  we are. 
The gifted, the brilliant, the imaginative too
demonstrate all of what we could do.

Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and all these different things 
good thing is we know who we are. 
Unlimited, expressive, passionate and real.
Time for us to shine amongst the stars.

good thing is we're going to let them know.
We are brilliant, determined, kind and caring too.

Diagnosis and beyond ..

         What now? So far you have been made aware of my difficulties and my diagnosis, but just to get back on track (yes sometimes we need to repeat ourselves); we were at the point whereby Dr Bibby asked have you ever heard of Dyspraxia? I shook my head. I couldn't even say it, never mind heard of it. The meaning behind the word never really sank in until sometime later. Grief and Relief Despite not truly knowing and understanding what Dyspraxia meant, I remember having mixed feelings. On one hand I was afraid because Dyspraxia meant 'different' you don't have to be a rocket scientist (even as a naïve child) to understand that different meant difficult. Let's face it life is hard enough without 'different' standing in the way. People often associate grief with death but  truth be told we can grieve who we once were before life happened. Food for thought

Dear _____________ Why do you punish yourself for being ill and or different ?  Why do you look in the mirror and see failure?  Dont you know comparisons are futile as there is only one you!  You torture yourself, convinced that the next day will be perfect. Problem is your perfectly flawed, so how can you live a perfect day?   Instead think about your thoughts and how they affect your wellbeing. Think about grace, the same grace you show others, you need to show yourself.  Listen far more then speak and be more selective over the company you keep.     It's 2019, not a miracle! Dont fall for the new year, new me attitude. But instead focus on who you are as a person. Acknowledge your success and failures. Acknowledge that your story is simply your own
